thanks Lee and Ann for the invite, i haven't 'blogged' before so i might muck up a bit. I am surprised with myself as I think i have completed assignment 1. I have not proof read yet so probably in for a shock. However, i am known for rushing things and having to start over, so hopefully not this time. Good on you Ann for thinking of Ass 2, i cant go there yet, assignment 1 still buzzing around in the old head. Anyway good luck if I come up with any 'truly stunning' readings that might help I will post them, also would be grateful if you guys have any thoughts on critiquing the themes in Ass 1 as I think this is my weak link. I choose direct and indirect leadership, vision and goals and relationships all in relation to the impact of leadership on student achievement, so please keep me in mind when reading.

Me too....

Thanks for the invite Lee, I will pass this on to Vikki and Joe.
I am the same, I have managed to open the reading book and went as far as Starratt- It is amazing how much I missed on the first reading. I am trying to put this all in a table, but I am sure the headings will have to change as I go. I am running three tables- 2 for assigment 1 and another for assigment 2, as some bitson diversity do creep in the readings. I am still muddled (ok- this is usually my state of mind anyway) and need more time to clarify what needs to be done- Howard was right, there is nothing quite like looking back at the course presentations. I think Arrrgh comes to mind right now.

Hello

How do you start this. A bit like the assignment I am lost for words. Anyway please feel free to invite anyone to participate in this blog. If we can all help each other we might be able to make things easier.
At the moment I am still in the process of reading. 100,000 words of slight disagreement between the authors ugggggghhhhhh. I am going to put pen to paper Friday. My plan is to treat each of the headings separately so at least I can make a start. But you know what they say about best layed plans of mice and men.
